Alumni Band Century Club - Scholarship Fund Info

In order to achieve our goals for the Alumni Band scholarship fund some members have come up with a nice plan to get to our limit in our fund. Please click here for details and info on how to participate in helping give scholarships to marching band members!

Oktoberfest 2014 - Helpful things to know from your friendly Alumni Band Operating Committee :)

Changes to the music rotation

Last year we put in the UW-L fight song 'La Crosse' into the rotation but this year we are going to try 'Hey Baby' instead. This will be added to the rotation after 'In Heaven'. We are not removing any songs (besides 'La Crosse'), just adding this song. Please see the music lineup on the Events page. If you would like to print out the music before you come, please visit our Music page and print away! Hey Baby may not be up there right away but check back.

Instrument/Percussion - Donations

If you have been a yearly 'borrower' of Alumni Band equipment, we are going to suggest a donation in exchange for the use of equipment. We are and always have been looking to update/maintain, and buy additional equipment to keep the band rolling, but we need your help. If you come on a yearly (or semi yearly, or quarterly) basis and borrow equipment, we ask that you consider a donation to help in the costs involved. Help us ... help you, and consider a donation to this 'special bucket' when you pick up your instrument on Friday or Saturday.

We hope to see you all
for Oktoberfest 2014!!

Instrument Loans for Oktoberfest
If you need a brass instrument for the parade you will need to notify Kris Cvikota, if you need percussion equipment please contact Jeff Hankey, who will line up instruments on a first come, first serve basis. The Alumni band has some brass and percussion instruments for loan but no woodwinds. Instruments may not be available so plan ahead. If you show up without contacting anyone don't expect an instrument to be waiting for you. We have limited instruments available and there are no guarantees. Please check back if you do not hear back in regards to your request.
