Oktoberfest parade - September 24, 2011!

All former members of the UW-L Marching Band (Chiefs/Eagles) are welcome to play in the group whether you spent one semester or 10 years at UW-L. If you have any questions about joining the group please email and we'll get your questions answered ASAP!

Alumni Band DVD - Parade clips from 1986-2006
A DVD has been compiled of the TV broadcasts of the Alumni Band in all of the Oktoberfest Parades from 1986-2006. The cost is $20 and proceeds go towards the Alumni Band Scholarship Fund. These DVD's were sold during Oktoberfest, and with other donations, we made $952 for the Scholarship Fund! If anyone would still like the DVD please email. There will be a couple of dollars added for shipping/packaging, but we can send these out at any time.

Instrument Loans for Oktoberfest
If you need a brass instrument for the parade you will need to notify Kris Cvikota, if you need percussion equipment please contact Jeff Hankey, who will line up instruments on a first come, first serve basis. The Alumni band has some brass and percussion instruments for loan but no woodwinds. Extra instruments may not be available so plan ahead. If you show up without contacting anyone don't expect an instrument to be waiting for you. We have limited instruments and WILL NOT BE BORROWING INSTRUMENTS THIS YEAR.
